I am a 26 year old college graduate of Springfield
College in Massachusetts. I have a Bachelor of Science degree
with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Business Management.
My home town is Orange,
Connecticut where I live with my family.
My oldest brother Michael works for BetterBenefits
LLC in Orange, Connecticut, while my older brother Scott,
works for The
Nation Magazine in New York City. Scott and Sarah (my sister-in-law),
just had a beautifal baby girl, Tallulah, on February 1, 2004. My
dad, Arthur, works for The J.M. Ney
Company in Bloomfield, and my mom, Nadine, teaches at The
Luis Munoz Marin School, in Bridgeport. As you might have guessed
by now, I love baseball and umpiring. The picture to the left was
taken in Sarasota, Florida during the 2000 Gulf Coast League regular
season. I attended the Jim
Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring, in January, 2000, and
umpired my first minor league season in the Gulf Coast League.
I am also currently an instructor at the Academy of Professional Umpiring.
Last year I umpired in the Carolina
League, and was fortunate enough to be assigned to the playoffs
and championship series. I am currently umpiring in the Eastern
League.
to see what else I've done in baseball and sports!
